Sony NW-HD1 Network Walkman- Sony UK site reacts quickly to consumer demand
On July 1st 2004 at noon (UK time) Sony unveiled the new SONY NW-HD1 (NWHD1) 25th Anniversary Network Walkman to the press. Newswires picked up on the story and articles referring to the Sony NW-HD1 as 'Sony's iPod killer' quickly appeared on websites all over the world.
The Sony NW-HD1 has a 30 hour battery life, which is much longer than Apple's iPod or iPod Mini.
