CookInStyle website deep indexed by Google in less than a week

Over 1,000 pages indexed & counting - and the cash till is ringing.

The CookInStyle website built by Spex and launched on Jan 27th has already been deep indexed by Google and is enjoying regular sales from organic search.

The CookInStyle website was designed to be search engine friendly but the short time from site launch to deep indexing surprised everyone, including Spex e-Marketing experts.

"Over recent months there has been talk of the Google Sandbox - a time delay of months before Google will include a new website in its search results" said Spex Managing Director, Colin Irwin. "With the site deep indexed in less than a week we seem to have beaten the sandbox in some way."

There is no single answer to how the sandbox has been beaten - instead a number of contributing factors have led to the success:

  • The site is designed from the ground up to be search engine friendly
  • The site has a very large product range
  • The products have high quality descriptions full of relevant keywords
  • A holding page was in place for a month before launch, which may have started the sandbox timer before site launch.
"In recent months we have seen a marked rise in the results from our organic search engine optimisation efforts - not just for CookInStyle. We are driving thousands of targeted visits to our clients websites through organic search and our clients are experiencing low cost sales as a result." said Irwin.
