SelfManage Modules
SelfManage sites can be extended to perform specialised tasks using Modules. SelfManage Modules are programs that plug in to your SelfManage website - they allow you to do things like:
- Manage banner ads
- Create an online shop
- Run online quizzes & surveys
- Provide password controlled Members Only areas
- Take bookings for events
What SelfManage Modules are available?
Shopping Cart Module
The Shopping Cart Module lets you build an online shop by adding products into categories and subcategories. Prices and product details can be easily updated through the SelfManage Admin Interface. The Shopping Cart Module lets you collect orders and credit card details and have them delivered by secure encrypted email to your company Inbox for processing.Banner Advertising Module
The Banner Advertising Module lets you create a space on your web pages for banner ads. The module allows you to:- Upload banners
- Apply a weighting to the frequency of display
- Record stats on the page impressions served and click throughs for each banner
Quiz Module
The Quiz Module allows you to upload a series of multiple choice questions and answers. The program emails you with the users name, email address and quiz answers. You can then get in touch with the user to congratulate them personally!Password Protection Module
If you have content that you need to restrict from general view, the Password Protection Module is for you.Forms module
The Forms Module allows you to collect personal details from your web visitors if they wish to apply for information from you, eg. to order a brochure or make a booking. The form can collect names, addresses, telephone numbers etc.Spex can advise you on the Data Protection guidelines that must be enforced when collecting this type of data on the Web.
