Sony’s inclusion of the Active Lens Image Stabilizer feature means that any motion caused by handheld use or camera shake is reduced before the image is captured by the 3-CCD system, allowing the Sony DCR-HC1000 to provide a sharper picture. Other professional attributes of the Sony DCR-HC1000 include AE Shift to adjust the automatic exposure levels and a Zebra Pattern display in the viewfinder or 2.5-inch Hybrid LCD monitor to warn of over exposure.
