At Spex we use a 7 step production process that enables us to deliver projects on time and on budget. The process is a combination of many years experience and Best Practise from online and offline software engineering projects.
The 7 step process
- Discover- Research the industry & understand audience expectations
- Define - Set goals and objectives, & establish requirements
- Structure - Define content, site map and individual page functionality
- Design/prototype - Produce visual designs and protoype site, usability test
- Build & test - Produce production version of site, QA test, user test, bug fix
- Launch - Signoff for launch, move to live environment, soft launch to ensure integrity, hard launch
- Evaluate & maintain - Review site against original goals and objectives, determine continued development
